Daniele Astarita, principal solutions consultant – Real-Time Payments, ACI Worldwide, will join a panel of experts to discuss the topic Instant Payments, Mobile Payments, Payments with Cards: Different Initiatives in the SEPA area and how to best meet the needs of citizens and enterprises. The discussion will be chaired by Rita Camporeale, Head of Payments at the Italian Banking Association, on Thursday, November 7 at 9.30–11.30am.

ACI executives will also deliver in-booth demonstrations (Stand S10) and provide insights into the new real-time and open banking ecosystem, as well as showcase key solutions and capabilities that support this ecosystem, including:

• ACI’s UP Real-Time Payments, which offers banks the ability to serve both corporate (RTGS) and retail customers’ real-time needs with an API-enabled solution that orchestrates real-time payments alongside card and non-card transactions. As part of the solution, ACI SWIFT gpi Data Service and ACI SWIFT gpi Connect help banks and financial institutions to derive the full value of SWIFT gpi and to take advantage of today’s new real-time, cross-border payment opportunities.

• ACI’s UP Payments Risk Management, which delivers enterprise fraud management capabilities, including advanced machine learning, predictive analytics and expertly-defined rules, to help issuers, merchants, acquirers and financial institutions identify and mitigate financial fraud.

ACI is also rolling out Universal Confirmations as part of SWIFT’s 2019 Pilot program, in advance of Universal Confirmations becoming mandatory in November 2020.
