“The payments industry – fueled by rapidly advancing technology driven by many talented individuals – has provided me with a truly rewarding career for more than a decade and counting,” said Carolyn Homberger, group president, ACI Worldwide. “It is an honor to be in the company of women who are dynamic leaders, change makers and innovators at the forefront of payments.”

Since joining ACI, Carolyn has held several key leadership roles across different business divisions and has led significant transformation projects. She plays a critical role in setting business strategy and in expanding ACI’s market-leading Universal Payments portfolio. As an advocate for the leadership and growth of women in the payments industry, Carolyn is responsible for launching ACI’s own Women’s Initiative.

“Congratulations to Carolyn for receiving this prestigious award. Her business leadership, drive and passion for payments are an inspiration to all of us at ACI, and we are proud to see Carolyn recognized for her impact and influence on an industry level,” said Craig Saks, chief operating officer, ACI Worldwide.

This year’s honorees will be featured in an awards ceremony at SourceMedia’s annual Card Forum, taking place May 21-23, 2019 in New Orleans.
