    NAPLES, FLA—June 24, 2014—A global fraud study of more than 6,100 consumers across 20 countries revealed that one in four consumers is a victim of card fraud in the last five years. The study, conducted by ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW) and Aite Group, also highlighted that 23 percent of consumers changed financial institutions due to dissatisfaction after experiencing fraud.

SBI is planning to increase the size of its ATM network to 60,000 units by 2017. This enhancement will be integrated into the bank’s existing HPE NonStop servers.

    NAPLES, FLA –October 16, 2012—A global study of more than 5,200 consumers across 17 countries conducted by ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW) and Aite Group, revealed that one-in-four respondents has been victimized by credit, debit or pre-paid card fraud during the past five years, with more than 20 percent of respondents reporting that they will stop using, or switch from, the card impacted by fraudulent activity. The report also found that residents of Mexico and the United States reported the highest percentage of direct experience with card fraud, at 44 and 42 percent respectively, while residents of The Netherlands and Sweden tied for the lowest levels of fraud at 12 percent.

  • Global Study Identifies Impact of Smartphone Use on Mobile Banking and Payments

    New York, NY & Boston, MA — May 14, 2012 — A study of mobile banking and payment adoption rates in 14 countries by ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW) and Aite Group has discovered a new category of consumer, known as Smartphonatics, that is driving the demand for mobile payments and banking. A Smartphonatic is someone who changes their shopping, financial and payment behavior as a result of owning a smartphone. The report identifies a stark difference between mobile adoption among Smartphonatics and other consumers: while 80 percent of Smartphonatics have used their smartphones for mobile banking only one-third of non-Smartphonatics report doing so. Similarly 70 percent of Smartphonatics have used their smartphones for mobile payments, less than a quarter of non-Smartphonatics have done so.
