NAPLES, FLA. — August 9, 2018— ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading global provider digital payments and real-time fraud management, will showcase its integrated merchant payments solution capabilities at Gamescom, held August 21-23 in Cologne, Germany. Additionally, ACI’s team of merchant payments and fraud experts will present interactive, TED-style sessions throughout the event (Hall 2D, Stand 041), focused on how the payment experience in gaming can increase conversions and boost revenues for gaming companies.

“The Payments Experience Gap in Gaming” – Alejandro Aznar, director, ACI Worldwide. Tuesday, August 21, 10:30–11:00am (Hall 2D, Stand 041).

Drawing upon new research conducted with Newzoo, this session will reveal how gamers are reshaping the market as digitalization gathers pace, and the growing gap between expectations and reality in the gaming payments experience. Understanding nuances in gamers’ paying habits, experiences and preferences can help game developers to craft top-quality gaming experiences that will close the gap and keep the bottom line in mind.

“The Power of Positive Profiling in Gaming – Amanda Mickleburgh, director, ACI Worldwide, August 22, 10:30–11:00am (Hall 2D, Stand 041).

In this session, attendees will learn how a consortium approach based on a global fraud database can be used to proactively profile both good customers and potential fraudsters. Positive profiling allows gaming companies to create digital identities for customers; reducing friction by helping to accurately identify genuine customers and tailoring the payments experience accordingly, adapting security measures to reduce friction, lowering false positives, and improving customer experience.

Gamescom attendees who are interested in attending these sessions are encouraged to register in advance to secure their place.
