(Watford, England – 5 July 2006) – ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: TSAI), a leading international provider of enterprise payment solutions, today announced that First National Bank (FNB), a division of First Rand Bank Limited, has extended its relationship with ACI for another five years. An ACI customer in South Africa since 1997, FNB will continue to leverage ACI’s flagship BASE24-atm® and BASE24-pos® payments software to route and switch ATM and POS transactions across its network. In addition, FNB, the largest merchant acquirer in South Africa, has licensed ACI Proactive Risk Manager to detect and prevent merchant fraud. The adoption of ACI’s fraud monitoring software was necessary to comply with Visa’s fraud mandate requiring banks to implement an automated risk management solution for acquiring.

(Nasdaq: TSAI), a leading global provider of enterprise electronic payments solutions, announced today that it has completed the initial closing of its acquisition of eps Electronic Payment Systems AG (“eps”). At this initial closing, approximately 83 percent of the eps outstanding shares were purchased. The remaining shares are expected to be purchased by the Company in October 2006.

The study found that the annual number of electronic payment transactions, currently at approximately 210 billion worldwide, will double by the end of the decade and is growing at a compounded annual rate equal to four times the expected growth in real gross domestic product (GDP). The ACI-sponsored study represents the first comprehensive, econometric approach to forecasting global payments across countries representing 97 percent of the world’s GDP.
