Panel of Industry Judges Recognize Success

(NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading international provider of payment systems announced that its market leading retail payments engine, BASE24-eps®, has been named the Most Innovative Financial Services Solution in the 2011 Financial World Innovation Awards, held in London. These awards, in their 14th year and highly respected in the industry, attracted more than 200 submissions, from 70 organizations, across 21 countries.
The Most Innovative Financial Services Solution category, for technology vendors, recognizes that “…outside expertise can offer economies of scale, tailored solutions and consultancy skills in solving the delivery challenges of the multifaceted products and processes of financial services.” The judges looked at the value that the nominated solutions offer, and the business and technology benefits they deliver.
BASE24-eps is ACI’s integrated payment engine that acquires, authenticates, switches, and authorizes financial transactions across multiple channels. It is ACI’s world-class payments platform, drawing on more than 35 years experience in payments software. The judges recognized the strength of the technology and its ability to enable financial institutions and processors to respond to the constantly changing payments marketplace.
